https://news.v.daum.net/v/20191230195315948</p><p><br></p><p>지역 사무실서도 쫓겨날 판.."캐리 람 참모들 집단 사퇴까지 고려"</p><p>선거 압승 범민주 진영, 구의원 혜택 누리며 '지역 기반' 강화</p><p>교육부 장관은 "시위 동조 교장·교사 해고할 수도" 강경 발언</p><p><br></p><p>지난달 24일 홍콩 구의원 선거에서 범민주 진영의 압승과 친중파 진영의 참패라는 결과가 빚어진 후 홍콩 친중파 진영의 내분과 수난이 이어지고 있다.</p><p>30일 홍콩 사우스차이나모닝포스트(SCMP)에 따르면 홍콩 행정장관 자문기구인 행정회의 구성원인 친중파 레지나 이프 의원은 전날 방송 인터뷰에서 행정회의 내에서 집단사퇴 논의가 있었다고 밝혔다.</p><p><br></p><p>구의원 선거 참패 후 친중파 진영은 선거에서 패배한 후보자들을 어떻게 대우하느냐의 문제로도 골머리를 앓고 있다.</p><p>홍콩 내 친중파 정당 중 최대 세력을 자랑하는 민주건항협진연맹(민건련)은 200여 명에 달하는 선거 패배 후보와 그 보좌진에게 일자리를 마련해 주는 문제를 놓고 고심하고 있다.</p><p>1992년 설립된 민건련은 이번 구의원 선거에 181명의 후보를 냈지만, 고작 21명이 당선되는 데 그쳤다.</p><p><br></p><p>민건련은 선거에서 패배한 후보들을 위해 친중파 기업이나 중국 본토와 연계된 기업에 일자리를 요청하는 방안을 추진하고 있지만, 투명성이 강조되는 상장 기업의 경우 이마저도 쉽지 않은 상황이다.</p><p>더구나 선거 패배 후보들은 지금껏 정부 제공으로 사용해오던 지역 사무실마저 반환해야 해 이중의 고통을 겪게 됐다.</p><p>민간 건물의 사무실을 구할 수도 있지만, 세계에서 가장 비싼 수준인 홍콩의 사무실 임대료를 감당하기 쉽지 않은 상황이다.</p><p><br></p><p>이에 따라 민건련은 현재 입법회 의원과 구의원 등을 위해 운영하는 홍콩 내 200여 개 사무실을 절반으로 줄이는 방안을 추진하고 있다고 당 관계자는 전했다.</p><p>반면에 이번 구의원 선거에서 전체 452석 중 400석 가까이 차지하는 압승을 거둔 범민주 진영은 구의원에게 주어지는 각종 혜택을 누리며 지역 기반을 강화할 수 있게 됐다.</p><p>홍콩 구의원은 매달 3만3천950홍콩달러(약 500만원)의 급여와 4만4천816홍콩달러(약 660만원)의 운영 비용을 지급받으며, 통상 한두 명의 보좌진을 거느린다.</p><p>
